'NATO' is banned as a nickname??

Numerous accounts are called NATO. Why is it that mine was deemed 'offensive' and banned?
Is is because there is a Ukrainian trident in the pic?

It says that I have been banned for a week from changes. Previously I used HIMARS (many months ago) -> https://www.dotabuff.com/players/25702333.
That got banned too.

But NATO??

Support can separately remove your avatar and ban you from uploading an avatar, so it's not likely it's because of your avatar or they'd have removed both or just the avatar. Not to mention plenty of other accounts with the Ukrainian trident and other Ukrainian symbolism. Hopefully support resolves the issue for you.

Looks at the sea of Russian Z Accounts which is at this point the equivalent of uploading a Swastika as a Profile Picture. Which I have also seen done...

But then NATO shouldn't be offensive otherwise there would be issues with the Wargame Red Dragon and Arma 3 Emotes.

Also while I am here shall I mention the number of accounts with Big Black Muscular Men with either racist crap or stereotypical names...

Steam support was very gracious about it and it's now fixed. It was probably due to a team of a certain country calling for the death of my mother during 50 minutes in Dota 2. They probably filed a report just to be annoying.

It's really quite sad that people can mass report you on here, and Valve's "team" just does nothing while the automated system punishes someone for angering someone else, modern tech is a joke lmao.
