Dead By Daylight Discussion board moderation
How do i contact them? Or who at BHVR can i contact about the moderation?
There is several users posting flamebait on the daily that never get punished but i just received a permanent ban from the discussion forums for saying "No" in reply to a post, which they claim is spam despite me only posting one comment like that.

They never respond to the bans, there's no way to contact them either and now i can't even post any screenshots of DBD.

If you'd like; https://steamcommunity.com/id/164512321313464/posthistory/
That's my full post history, i have nothing to hide.

They do not respond on it , if you contact BHVR support they say they can't do anything because i have to contact the steam discussion mods, who never even check the ban comments. I quite literally have no clue why i got banned, people fill that forum with flaming and toxic bait all day and are fine

The section is known to ban people rather quickly, even over smaller things, so a lot of people tend to avoid that game hub. If they don't reply and the game dev wont do anything, your last resort option is Steam Support which could possibly overturn it if they agree it was too harsh.

With my previous ban that happened because i said i "didn't like being matched with toxic twitch children that do anything to make you miserable possible" steam support simply said they can't do anything because the game devs decide what happens to me whilst the devs refuse to respond.

It honestly feels like a massive amount of power abuse and toxicity on the moderator team is present as they cherry pick opinions they dislike and try to ban you for made up rules. I don't believe saying "no" once warrants me getting a PERMANENT BAN because i got banned before for equally petty reasons

Bans will stack, especially in game hubs.

My previous ban was also ignored by the mods and people saying much, much , MUCH worse stuff aren't being banned even when they're known for starting entire flame wars in the comments.

My first ban was because i used the word "cancer"...in a game where there's an item named "Canker Blooms/pustulas"...

Are you honestly trying to tell me that me saying just "no" in response to a thread warrants a permanent ban?

It seems your only option is to insist in contacting their support, explaining that those in charge of the Steam hub are not replying, possibly not even reading your messages.

I've seen funny bans, but one for saying "no" really takes the cake.

They claim it is because i was being unconstructive and "spamming", i only said "no" ONE TIME and never before.
You are a member of the dbd discussions, i recognize you. You can agree with me that members such as B*risk* (censored to avoid witchhunting accusations...) constantly make flamebait and it doesn't get removed.

This is just insane. There is no one willing to help or talk about it either, BHVR support says they aren't in charge of it, steam support says they can't help and the DBD discussion board mods ignore me

Yeah, I recognize you too.

What was the question?

I never said that. Please read my reply again.

The question was someone asking to explain medium vault animations and in their post itself exclaiming they think they should be removed. I replied "no" because i simply thought i didn't want them removed.
Boom, instant permanent ban because i've been banned before

Wow, no. I haven't. That just makes it 10x worse, jesus christ
I think unfortunately you're stuck. I have a permanent game forum ban for once saying that a text-based game had really good graphics.

I attempted to contact the moderators via the ban page, and then attempt to send them a friend request to discuss it with them privately. Both of which are steps that valve recommends. I was promptly ignored, and then blocked by the individual moderators.

Upon contacting steam about this, they told me that individual game forms are allowed to moderate as they see fit. Essentially as long as they're not doing anything completely crazy, they are left to their own devices; which is how a valve treats their own moderators too.

So unfortunately, I think you're stuck. At least in my experience, I took every step valve recommended and was simply ignored.

Silly thing is, I was in the forum looking up information to possibly purchase the game.
