Is there a game like Elite Dangerous, but with bigger ships?

I have always loved sci-fi and spaceships, and games like Elite Dangerous look kind of cool, but in it, and most like it it seems, you can only get small to medium sized vessels. Is there any game similar where you can get a huge ship? Like a Battleship, Dreadnought, or other?

Is there any game that caters to my desire for a huge hulking spaceship I can pilot through the starry cosmos? (While potentially obliterating anything that looks at me funny)

I’ll second X4. Those ships are huge.

It’s Elite’s slightly faster baby brother, so it’s easy for Elite players to switch over, and it won’t take nearly as long to gather credits to buy the biggest ships.

But you should probably read up on it (and on Battlecruiser Millenium) it falls somewhere between 'Great if you think the quality of a simulation can be measured by the amount of pain learning it' and 'nah, it is just a meme by now'.
