The Steam Deck...
So can anyone tell me why they went that route they did with the design of of this thing? It looks like it was using a design philosophy from the mid-2000's, which was the same era that procued the Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable. I don't understand why it's using such large and thick bezels. I feel like it should be far more screen and less body.

I honestly would like to buy this thing otherwise, because as a macOS user, so many games aren't compatible with my device and running a VM has so many performance issues and graphical glitches trying to emulate Windows OS. But man, does this thing LOOK like a 1st generation product. The screen estate just looks so small compared to the relative size of the thing's body.

Version 2 will be better. They're getting on it.

And the controls aren't unnaturally lopsided like the GPD Win 4.

Who is the pervert who gave that the go-ahead?

I can say the same about my Nintendo Switch OLED. That device has a much better screen-to-body ratio. So Valve can do better, I think.
