Phone got ran over, now can't change phone number, help????

OK, so here is the story:
My m8 ran over my phone the other day. Bit mad, but got new phone today so its chill (it has a new number). I try and change the number listed on steam, but to do that, i need my old phone. Is there anyway i can add my new phone without my old phone???? PLEASE HALP!

Then you're going to have to decide whether

1) putting a sim card into a new phone

or

2) contacting support, providing proof of ownership, waiting for them to remove the existing phone number

is more 'work'.

Yeah support sorted it quickly for me, just supplied them with the old number and they removed it.

Same scenario, except running over the phone. Where my brother crushed my phone... lol anyways Contact steam support about how you got a new phone blah blah blah, just give them as much info as possible, send pictures of recent receipts, address (email), give them as much. But problem to this support... They sleep on the job, I waited almost a week for them to remove my number and put the steam guard on the email. My friend is still waiting exactly 3 months to get his War Thunder verification off. So patience is key.
