PayPal balance issue (Your billing address doesn’t look like it matches up with your current country)

I had 3 games in my cart, $7.99 each, i tried to purchase with PayPal balance, got error "billing address doesn't match blah blah blah", and I have clearly Puerto Rico as my both PayPal and steam accounts billing address country. Then when I was about to purchase with my sister's credit card, the games prices going up to $39.99! Screw you steam! Always with freaking issues! And the help is mediocre! Very unsatisfied with the service!

Make sure you allow enough time for your purchase. Sales end at a certain time and new deals start. If you leave it to the last moment and encounter an issue then yes you can miss sales and the price can go back up.

It wasn't my fault. I didn't let time pass, it was all in the same time. I filled the cart with the games, then tried to purchase, and got an error every time. Many attempts, so It wasn't clearly my fault! Now, one of the games was left out, Spiderman Shattered Dimensions and it went up to $39.99 and i can't afford it. This is not fair. It was a Steam error. My account billing country is clearly right in both my PayPal account and Steam account, Puerto Rico.

I never said it was your fault, im saying next time be sure to allow sufficient time in case you encounter an issue. Leaving it to the last few minutes of a sale you will risk missing the sale price if something happens.

You keep implying that I left this for the last few minutes. Let me explain. I have been watching these games since the first time I opened a Steam account. But I couldn't affort them by that time. Today I said "let me check if the games prices are still the same", then for my susprise they were at $7.99! So I immediately added them to my cart, and was about to pay for it, and then I got the error every time I tried!

The games are:

- Spiderman Shattered Dimensions
- The Amazing Spiderman
- The Amazing Spiderman 2

And now I can only get 2 of them at $7.99, Shattered Dimension went up to $29.99. I only have $40 and I need the tree because if you see my adquired games, I don't play a lot, only batman, spiderman, prince of persia and my favorite game spiderman. I think I should be rewarded because this was the system's fault not mine. I'm tired because I have been through a lot of issues recently , because of some issue with the system, Paypal, ebay, etc.

The sale ended an hour ago, it was just unfortunate you were not able to attempt the purchase until the last moment. Keep it on your wishlist and 1 day it will go back on sale.

If I purchase - The Amazing Spiderman
- The Amazing Spiderman 2 now, it will honor the sale's price when I first tried to purchase? $7.99? Then i will leave Shattered Dimensions in the wishlist until the sale goes back 1 day as you say? And thanks so much for replying me.

No, you can only pay what the price says at the time. You can't get it now and get a partial refund or anything like that. Keeping it on your wishlist just means you should get an email the next time it goes on sale.

Oh i've never seen or heard of that part before. "Last time you tried to purchase this product there was an error, so we saved your cart (including discounts) for 72 hours so you can attempt your purchase again."

So what happens when you click on the "repurchase cart" button? The issue i see is that the Spiderman game is crossed out.

You could contact your bank and see if they have any idea what the error was.Maybe It was the card that was declined.

Start_Running, did you read the conversation? Nope. I didn't leave this for the last possible minute. Immediately that I added the items to the cart, I paid for it, and got an Error!!!! Then tried many time and got the same error. Checked my billing addresses in both Steam and PayPal, and everything was ok.

Ok erλm, i will try to "repurchase" that cart. I only hope that the system won't charge me the actual prices, it would be really sad, and unfair.

If there was an issue like that you would get a refund, of course. The image says the discount is being held so you have proof, but this doesnt mean pay full price with a new cart and then ask for a refund, it has to be done from the saved cart.
