What a huge POS
So I went to D/L a game and ended up installing this.. Turns out I did not need steam at all after getting my game installed I go to uninstall this POS program from my computer and it deletes everything I have in my game file off my storage hard drive. 130 gigs worth of game that had nothing to do with this crap I had on my computer for like 10 min........

Hmm, never seen Steam delete all of the games directory in Windows before only Linux. Guess there is a first time for everything.

Are you new to steam?

Iv used it before. But its something I dont really use at all. Like I said went to D/L a game and steam popped up after clicking the link so thought I needed it. Turns out did not need it.
So after getting the game I was after installed I click on the uninstall in the steam files then puff all my icons were gone from my desktop and a file name caught my eye as it was sitting there deleting everything and was what the H why is it deleting everything. Only game on my computer that did not get deleted was Armored Warfare as it was not in the games file on my 2nd hard drive.

Im just more or less glad that it did not delete all the pic's from it as its where we store all our pics as well 10 years worth of them. So thats all that is left on my 2nd hard drive now pic's and Armored Warfare everything else was deleted.

It sounds like you set the Steam library directory to be lets say D:/Games Steam then assumes it owns ALL files in D:/Games and so deleted them when you uninstalled it.
