Do you uninstall the games you dont play anymore or keep them in your Library?
Curious to find out if people keep the games they dont play anymore on their pc storage, especially games with huge storage such as GTA. I have quite a few games I dont think I will even play again, yet I am not uninstalling them. I have 3/4 space on my pc and its come to my attention that maybe I should uninstall them.

If I'm sure I won't play them again I simply uninstall them. I keep games installed that I intend to replay or finish off sometime, or if they have multiplayer so I can play them together if someone asks me to.

Because Steam servers are so much faster than they were even a few years ago it makes much more sense to uninstall your unused games. This is especially true if you have limited storage on a small SSD. Steam servers are wicked fast now. The paradigm has changed.

I still keep them on a back up as I find it quicker to "reinstall" the game instead of re-download it. However not everyone has an external disk available and wants to fill it with all their games.

I keep them until I need the space, then it's usually an agonizing decision between 3 or 4 games that I keep meaning to play but haven't touched in the two years they were installed on my pc. :P

I don't understand why would deleting your games increase steam server speed??:heavensrage:

He's saying since it only takes 5 to 10 minutes to install most games it doesn't matter if you uninstall them. Before you'd wait hours to download a single game.

Some people will need a data center to keep all the games installed.

If you are afraid of the apocalypse or simply want to keep a collection, just back them up and store them in an external drive.

whoa whoa, it doesn't have to revolve around fear, maybe they are actively taking the initiative to be prepared in-case a disaster happens in which their harddrive is saved, they still have the internet and still can play their steam games..
