Why do i feel bad when im beating someone?

Like idk if ever people have this but whenever im beating someone/a team in a game i feel really bad and want to let them win. Is this just me or do ever people have this?

Lol I'm the exact opposite... If I beat them once I want to beat them 10 more times!

You're just more empathetic than most online gamers. No one likes getting severely trounced over and over again and you connect with that feeling and relax your play a bit so they have a better chance to win.

I only really feel like that when I play with my friend on Smash. Beyond that, I don't have any sympathy. Is that bad? You'll get no sympathy from me.

When i first saw this i thought it was going to be about beating people up on the street.
The reason i dont feel bad when smashing a noob team is because back when i started gaming and was a total noob i couldnt do anything without dieing (still today have the highest death count every match) then getting yelled at by a bunch of little kids through bad mics.

Honestly I don't really feel guilty anymore, or the enjoyment of winning, more like a shell of a man/women, happiness is more associated to laughter now...
