Is the Valve store going away?

I've seen a guy talking about how ForFansByFans will close on January 1st 2023. No announcements were made by ForFansByFans nor by the parent company GoodSmile. They also said that "merch artists were notified", yet after a thorough look on the Internet, nobody but this guy was talking about the closure of FFBF. So, here's my question: Is it true that ForFansByFans is closing, shutting down the Valve store in the process?

I haven't heard such news, but I do hope an official Valve/Steam merch store does show up with an actual valve and/or steam related url. I never trusted the current store as it doesn't even attempt to pretend its run by Valve.

We don't really know what Good Smile is going to do with FFBF now they own the company but it seems that reddit users like to spread fear of its demise, probably rogue people on the marketing team, to boost sales even more.

This thread is concerning the Valve merchandise store, the website of which has not been updated in at least two years, so I don't blame OP for believing that the website is planned to be taken offline.
