The reason you still see plenty of abandonware sites up and running is that due to all the mergers and acquisitions, and the literal paperwork of who owns what being boxed up and in storage consisting of thousands upon thousands of pages means that the owners aren't aware they do own it, and can't gamble with a cease & desist, because if they get challenged and proven wrong, it's expensive. If they're challenged and proven right, it's expensive too because they had to pay a team of lawyers to dig through those storages and figure everything out.

The main problem is with an archived rar file called S59 which seems to have the bulk of the data stored inside it
Seeing as I spent around £80 for a copy of the game (and shipping) im a little annoyed to say the least
If you've got any suggestions i'd love to hear them (or if im being generally inept haha) so much love and happy memories for this game, think it's a real shame that licensing and corporate crap can impact people's enjoyment of a real master piece of a game - heck i'd take a remaster any day (with perhaps a different voice actor for spidey haha) seeing as this is the age of devs cashing in on nostalgia
