Spider-Man Web of Shadows

Has anyone had any success in aquiring this game. I really want to play it again but its nowhere to be found.

I know this game is extremelly annoying to fix, I was able to fix Spiderman 3, but Web of Shadows is a different realm of struggle. I tried the regedit, and 1.1 update including cracked versions to get 1080P*1920. I got the game to run in full screen, just the problem I have is getting 640P changed to 1080P. Trying to find other ideas.

You do at least have the launcher for the game right, where you can change the controls and V-sync and launch the game from there?

Ya the problem with the launcher, it doesn't show the resolutions, I tried the patch, didn't fix it.

There's still a modding community that's a little active. I think they use the retail version of the game though, which is almost impossible to find nowadays.

The thing about Spider-man and other games using IP's from comics, tv shows and movies is that the license deals struck to sell the game almost always come with an expiration date. If the publisher wishes to sell the game beyond that (either digitally or by supplying new retail copies), they need to make a new deal, which rarely happens. The Deadpool game was a rare exception, because the success of the first movie would more or less guarantee enough sales to make a second deal worth it.

So once a deal expires, the only way to get such games is to track down unsold retail copies.

This was hands down my favorite spiderman game, still need to play the PS4 one however, though I think this one will stay my favorite because of the cool plot and setting :).

Would have been a 100% game for me if a person could play as Venom as well :P
