Will the sales change in the Summer Sale?
It seems a lot of games are on sale for the whole summer sale. In the past I have seen games go on even bigger sales than their summer sale price during this time. I was wondering if that will still happen this year? Sorry if this isn't clear. :theta:

Steam no longer does flash sales or daily deals during these sales events. It was causing to much of a problem when someone would buy something and four hours later it would drop in price.

Okay, thank you. So if there are any games I want to get, their price isn't going to change from their current one? Thanks again.

at least not during the summer sale, which IMO makes this sale a bit lame, but maybe that's just me...

also check alternative vendors, I've seen better prices for games offsteam, which wasn't usually the case in the good old days when flashsales were a thing...
Yeah, I agree, I liked the flashsales, but I can understand the reasoning for getting rid of them. Also, now you get cards for looking through the Discovery Queue instead of voting. The queue gets real old after going through three a day.
I was okay with daily deals.

The flash sales, on the other hand, were rather annoying to catch. So was voting on them.

Just keep the games you want wishlisted. When they get discounted, Steam will e-mail you. Sometimes the discounts are better during the rest of the year.
