Looking for an RPG

[Cohaven]

I am looking for a singleplayer, preferably with co-op available, RPG with 3D third person, first person, or isometric view and good real time action combat. The less outdated the game is, the better. PC platform and preferably available on Steam.

I am not a fan of JRPGs or grid-based first-person RPGs.
I am not interested in MMO suggestions either.

Please recommend me some RPGs that are not in the lists below and follow the above criteria. Please note that the lists below will be constantly updated, reflecting my opinion on suggested games. I don't think I would be interested in those, but thanks for the suggestion. Can you think of anything else?

Try Darksiders too, both good games, 2 is more RPG loot based.

Torchlight 2 is good.

Vanhelsing is on humble bundle atm for cheap so thats worth a go and is very good!

I figured that I already tried most of the good ones, that is why I am asking for help to find some underrated ones.
Haven't played any of the FF games, mostly becuase they are either very outdated, causing compatibility and resolution issues, or have turn-based combat.
I played Darksiders, I might indeed try the sequel.
I played Torchlight 2 and Vanhelsing, but since they are isometric, I did not include them in the list.

That looks like an MMO not an RPG, MMOs kinda suck and are very slow paced........

I second Last Remnant, excellent game and the mechanics are very unique, its pretty long too and has LOADS of side quests, most of which are time based so id suggest reading a guide because you can miss so much in that game!!

I have played most of the popular 3D MMORPGs including Dragon's Prophet. Was not a big fan of the F2P restrictions. The game had a really cool idea, but I got bored of it quickly. For this thread, let's focus on singleplayer RPGs.

Gothic is one of the best RPG series i have ever played. You have to definitely play Gothic 1 and 2. There is quite old and maybe weird combat system, but it is really masterpiece of RPGs. Many people hate Gothic 3, but there you have nice open world with a little bit worse story, but i enjoyed it too. Other series - maybe Ys or FF.
