Split-Screen / Dual-Controller Games to play with my kid

There are a few games that me and my kid (7yo) play - mostly Dirt, Hero Seige, Hammerwatch, Rocket League. The commonailty in all these games is that we can play with 2 controllers on the same screen. We love to play an hour a day together.

I am now looking for similar games to play together. So far we have had the most fun with Dirt due to split screen competivite feel. However, its a rally game so the concept of timed individual race is spoiling the fun. We also had quite a bit of fun with Hammer Watch.

So, are there any good split screen games we can play together on the same computer that you would recommend ?

yes, i had done the tag searches, but it doesnt really give much of information on which games are better. I do not want to experiment and get a lot of games in the process. So, asking for advice.

The Lego series allow for 2 player coop on the same screen, if i remember correctly from Lego Batman 2 onwards they also allow split screen.

Yes. I do have a few Lego games in my library, but he has finished most of them. What else could we play ?

I didn't realize Magika could be played coperatively. We started this and are having a blast. The controls are a bit clunky, but manageable. Also currently he is having a good time dueling me ! lolz. Fun game.
