People Epic Games Support is a big ♥♥♥♥
They stole an Epic Games account that I had there, I sent an email to the support to explain that they stole from me and passed tests that it is my account and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ response they gave me was.

I want to let you know that I have been able to locate said Epic Games account and I have detected that we will not be able to change the email address for security reasons since our system will not allow us to make changes to it, this is because at Epic we care about security and privacy of the accounts and of all our players.

Explain that I was robbed and I can't access or know what email was placed on the account and what that great Hjpt told me was.

I have read your email and understand the importance that the account represents for you, I would like to tell you that Epic Games takes the protection and security of all players' accounts very seriously, due to this, the account is not eligible to be used. make changes to it.

People confirmed Steam Support is the best there is, Epic Games Support is Reverend ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Epic has 2FA, so if you weren't using it your account was at greater risk of being hijacked. Although, if you were using email authentication, someone who got access to that could probably figure out you had an Epic account. Account security is the users responsibility.

There are only 2 ways an email address can be changed by a hacker for an Epic account

1- the hacker that stole your account has all the information about you and your account to prove ownership, which would mean that this hacker has more information about you and your account than you do.

2- The hacker has access to your email account

3. The account has no payment method linked (Something common with all the freeloader accounts redeeming Epic's free games around) the hijacker adds one and now has the proof of ownership to manage the account with support.

It's something Fortnite users have been suffering for a time. Main reason why Epic has been pushing protecting their accounts through 2FA.

Interesting to know! I'm one of those freeloaders but I've just added a payment method to keep my fr33 sh17 mine indeed.

To get free games on Epic you have to enable 2FA on the account. I thought they added that requirement like a year ago after a huge swath of hijackings occurred when people were onboarding due to the free games, and then immediately getting hijacked due to a plethora of issues like password reuse.

Take a look at this very forum. Accounts get "hacked" daily despite 2FA because, as everyone knows, 2FA isn't the end to all means.

PS: I'm astonished they censored sensationalist spelling of "free" but not of "♥♥♥♥".
So they basically told you to your face, "That you should bugger off, free loading peasant. You are a security risk for us and our platform!" This is a true clowns world response.

If I were in your place, I would "invoke" the customer protection organisation of my country, pay the fee and let them lose on them just for this insult on general principle.

Parallel I would hire a lawyer, to attack them from both sides for that insult. Money does no longer matter at that point. But that would just be me.

As third step I would make it very public. Maybe try to let some Gaming channel Youtuber report about that kind of behavior from them. That could concern us all in the future. This ♥♥♥♥♥ can always happen.

My dude passed all the tests and they still said no 💀
This guy is not telling the truth. There is like 15 different ways you can sign into your Epic account. Google and Microsoft automated sign in, you can even sign in from your Facebook. Epic has to be the hardest host you can lose your account to. You can even start your game and it signs you in automatically.

I mean that's only 'technically' true but practically not really

If you've not previously linked your account to all those dozen or so methods then you can't use them to log into your account. You'd only have them linked if you play speciifc games cross platform.

Im going to test it right now......
I just logged out and logged back in with my google accounts I never linked. As long as they have the same email. So you would have to lose your account password, email password, and everything that email is attached to. Hardest account to lose.

In order for #3 to happen, the user would still need to do something wrong that got the hacker access to the users account to even put the payment method on the account, which is most likely falling victim to phishing or reusing same passwords everywhere or close to the same password.
Well, this guy is well known for baiting and trolling in spanish forum, so all of this could be just a simple lie trying to farm points and maybe the reason why it's banned.
