What games are like Skyrim?

Yeah, I highly recommend Morrowind and Oblivion.

If you’re not set on fantasy, try the Bethesda’s Fallout series.

Also, try Outer Worlds, Gothic, and Witcher 3.

Edit: All the Besthdas and Obsidian games are on Gamepass and Gothic is dirt cheap.

Edit 2: I meant Gothic 2. Avoid 1 until the remake and exercise extreme caution with 3.

Minecraft. Both make you experience existential dread as either there's no one around you, or even if there are, they're all braindead and repeating the same menial tasks every day offering the exact same dialogue like they don't even know you.

Dark Souls. You walk around with a sword and shield or axe in a medieval setting and you kill mostly undead things. There is nothing else I can make of this.

Elder Scrolls Online plays nothing like any of the Elder Scrolls games, and not in a good way

Fallout series-its newer games are very much skyrim but in a post apocalypse the older ones aren't a first person game but still worth entertaining

witcher series

baldurs gate/neverwinter nights series-old but gold not first person but still very engrossing

dungeon siege series-see above
