Trading Cards - Services, Tips for badges?

Good day folks,

I don't have much time to spend on trading cards with people one by one so I'm just looking for some tips on getting some badges done in a quicker way.

In the past, I've used some trading bots like Steam Card Exchange, but they rarely have stock of any of the cards I need to complete sets.

The Steam market takes a pretty big cut if you sell each card individually, then buy each card you need.

Are there any other useful sites, bots, trading services, that can help you trade cards quicker without having to arrange each trade with other people one by one?

There are, but using them inevitably means having to log into them with your Steam credentials, making your account vulnerable to being hijacked.

There are bots where you only need to trade keys (TF2/CSGO chest keys). You write them how many cards you want or which level you want to achieve, the bot will answer with a trade (over Steam), so you can see how many and which cards you will get and your chest keys.

I don't think this is an issue for legitimate sites. I've used barter.vg, steam trades, etc. for years, which require you to log in through Steam. This is only an issue if you do so on an untrustworthy phishing site or some such.

You enter your credentials on Steam directly, and they are not shared with the third party.

This is the way, you only enter your stuff in store.steampowered.com and steamcommunity.com and on the other sites just let openid handle it and don't risk anything.

Here's the deal with that though. You will be presented with a Steam login form. Is it truly Steam? Or is it a fake page made to look like Steam? That's how people are getting hijacked. They swear up and down that they only logged into Steam and from their perspective that might be what it seems.

The correct course of action for anyone wanting to use their Steam account to log into another site is to go directly to Steam first. Log in as usual. Now as long as you are logged into Steam, if you are asked to use your Steam account to log in elsewhere it should be just a simple Sign On button. Nothing more. If you're still being asked for login credentials then it's a good chance you are being phished.

There is nothing stopping a 3rd party website from switching out Steam's actual login screen with their own whenever they want.

I do not recommend using third party sites unless you do not mind the risk of eventually coming here again, this time to complain about having your items stolen.

If you do not want to trade one by one, by far the quicker way would be by buying them in the marketplace, Steam cut and all.
