Moving Steamworks Common Redistributables to another drive
Hello,
I want to move the application Steamworks Common Redistributables to another drive, but I get an error when I try to do so.
"Moving content for the following apps has failed :
- Steamworks Common Redistributables : has shared content"

I am using Manjaro Linux.
At first I used my large internal drive for all my games. This worked fine and that's where the Steamworks Common Redistributables are installed too.
But then I bought a M.2 for my steam library and I moved all my games over there.
I have marked the M.2 drive as the default drive, so all new games will be installed there too.
I don't want my whole library on one drive, and only the Steamworks Common Redistributables on another drive.

Is there a way to move this app to another drive?
Can I delete the folder and steam will install this app on my M.2 default drive again?

the redistributables is a special depot and as such can only be installed basically where steam is installed initially

theres not a huge benefit to moving them to a different drive

>> PC setups are mostly different, so is also the benefit of moving these files.
(My benefit is clearing the OS drive)

Please make them easy to delocate.

Won't happen. Consider those a part of the Steam system and move the whole of Steam to that other drive.
