He tried to hack our accounts and my friend baited with that link but luckily we got his account back

Sometimes it's virtually impossible without actually clicking the link. And let's be real, browsers are secure enough, nothing will happen if your browser is up to date and you don't download anything from the malicious website.

There are times when the URL is hidden (altough you can almost certainly copy it, so not valid), sometimes the site's url isn't trying to seem as something else, there are phishing websites that look like case opening sites, so you can't determine whether it's phishing until you actually check the site out.
Sigh… where will people learn not to give their private crap to third worlders like it’s always ether a Trade scam or some copy and paste crap.
