Games with tons of replayability
I been looking for games that have a ton or rather infinite replayability, though the latter may not be an option since "Games dont last forever" kind of speaks true. But I would love to hear what games and or genre's of games that can provide replayability and/or longevity. To mark some out here, I am not a big fan of high competitive games (Apex Legends, CSGO, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, etc) but beyond that I am open to about anything. Thank you for the suggestions in advance!

Randomly generated, lots of stuff to unlock, multiple ways to finish your goals.

Sandbox games usually are like that, since you don't have a marked mission. Gmod, The Sims, Rust, Scum. Also games where you have many ways to play, like the Civilization series.

Any kinds of Rogue-like games. You will be keep playing and playing, trying and trying, but won't be able to finish in your life time. Hades, Dead Cells, Binding of Isaac:Rebirth are some prime examples.

Doom 2 is one when you enable mods on GZDoom. Age of Empires 2: DE is a good one as well.

I will write both old games and new ones.

If you like driving; Mercedes-Benz World Racing, Forza Horizon 4, American Truck Simulator, NASCAR Heat 4&5, Project Cars & Project Cars 2, DR2.0 are huge candidates. (i still play MBWR since 2004)

If you like isometric Hack&slash; Diablo II: LoD, DiabloII Resurrected, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest (THQ still release really good expansion packs. Incredible for a 2006 game and proves its infinite replay value by doing so) are proven ones.

There are others too, but it depends on personal taste. I mean, i still play the 1997 game Hexen II but, that's just me. :emofdr:

IDK I actually have one game that has lasted forever for me. I started playing it when i was 11 and I still play it and i'm 42 that was Rock N Roll racing for super nes lol. Just one them games that do last forever except i have to use emu to play it as the console didn't last forever unfortunately.

But i can't really state what game would have a deep long lasting replay value because that is something based more on opinion. I have tons of games I keep permanently installed that i sink large amounts of time in but those same games may not hold your attention as long. Hell you may not even like the genre or the game play, so i can't really say for sure.

I mainly just wanted to say some games can last forever if you like the game play enough.

Try TF2 lots of replay potential. But just look out the for the bots and hackers that swarm casual because VAC is worthless.
