Hey

anyone had problem that after posting review on a game you nominated it wasnt submitted?

I posted review only now but when I check the badge I see that the action is not listed there as completed!

Don't waste their time. Timed events are just that, TIMED. The event ended a long time ago and there's no way to complete tasks that were not completed back then.

LOL! You didn't complete the full badge so you got the tier which you did. Support can't do anything so don't waste their time.

Learn from it. Next time complete the badge during the event for which the badge is. Keep in mind that it's very likely that the backend mechanics that were put in place for the event aren't active anymore.

Support won't complete or remove the badge for you.

Time events are timed. If you wait until it over, there nothing can do about it as you miss out finishing the event. Most badges for events are easily doable within half hour, or so as the tasks are not too hard to handle.

Support can't remove badges, you're not the first person to ask, nor the last just so you're aware.

Not a year ago lol - it's for previous year. It must have been january this year!

Its just the thing that one of games I nominated required the review which I didnt want to write at that time. Because I wanted to properly play the game and experience it FIRST. The game is The Elder Scrolls Online. After finally finding time and mood to play it i reached 100 hours in it and wrote the review (but before I had like 30-40 hours in it).

Not a year ago lol - it's for previous year. It must have been january this year!

How can it be January when the nominees were made for the sale starting in December? Voting had to be completed one month before the sale started to collate the nominees so the community could select the winners to be announced in January.

Even if you created this thread in the first week of December last year, it would have been too late regardless.

thing is I made all the nominations etc. I didnt think that badge progress is tied to event time.

You only missed one task worth 25xp anyway plus it's a badge nobody wanted which is why Valve re-issued everyone with the classic one instead who completed at least one task https://steamcommunity.com/id/nordicspirit26/badges/57
