You wait for a sale, apply the 10$ coupon, buy the game, close epic and forget it.
You got yourself a cheap uplay game.
You may not like what I say, but everyone using EpicGames just wants to have cheap games. There is so much backlash on this platform because the EpicGames Users are greedy. The entire gaming market has a fee of 30 percent on the developer except EpicGames which uses traditional tactics to lure in flies that do not care about their date.
I hate EpicGames.
I recomend you buy a key for the game and still play it here.
Here you have your freedom at least.
Oh come on. Steam have to do what the US Goverment says if it is on sanctions. so the same b... as you cry against the chinese goverment.
If you hate Epic it is ok.
at all we get screwed if it is steam, epic, ubisoft, blizzard, ea, xbox if they decide to turn away some games or you whole account you lose all the stuff and ubsifot ceo says the games are owned by the customer.
I prefer good old games (gog) because the give you the chance to download and store the installer ( to install files and the key) so the whole game is your.
+100. I wish you would post this on every thread.
First and foremost you have no idea what freedom Steam has in its' diversity of games. The model and tools it gives to creators as well as creative freedom is the biggest on the market. Nowhere else can you find a place that could offer games like F&H, Disillusion, the Milk Inside series, Night in the Woods, WOH and others like it.
Indie devs have a greater exposure for their games by publishing it and creates an economy of independent developers and studios that have many incentives such as workshops, achievements, events.
You mentioned US sanctions my friend, then tell me WHEN this happened?
Meanwhile China has banned the use of Steam for their citizens 6 times since 2018 and allowed it afterwards with stern regulations, the same with Epic Games.
Steam does not remove games, they just stop selling a title because the owners of the intellectual property ♥♥♥♥♥ out or the title is restricted in a country because it would be really illegal to sell some games.
A copy of a game is your property due to international property law, it is not just your possession. The only thing you cannot do is multiply it or steal parts of it because the idea still belongs to a studio.
You own your own version of the game if you buy it here but if you can't do some things you could do with furniture. Games are the same as books in that regard.
Your account is only taken away by your government, shout out to the bros in Beijing. Accounts cannot be deleted or taken down by the platform, especially for owning a game.
I dare you to find out how anonymous this platform is and how little data Steam has actual access to.
Or to find your precious AAA titles from Ubisoft or Blizzard on Epic Games.
I find it dishonest of you to just shout out half truths about the legal situation of this platform and the medium.
Though I share the view that GOG is king. Long lived be the abandonware!
If you have questions, just ask.
And really dishonest of the person deleting their comments because they have ♥♥♥♥ opinion. At least stand to it once you say it.
