Searching for old survival game

Im searching for an old survivalgame late 80 early 90. Island based and you had to make a raft to level up to the next island. I remeber i played a demo version of it when i whas young and want to play it again.

It would help if you knew the system it was on. The only thing I can think of that is remotely similar is Hunter. Although the focus is on assassination and destruction in an open world sandbox and not survival.

Island: A Game Of Survival was from 1991 or so. A Canadian educational game on PC. It's still out there for download on abandonware sites, requires DOSBox to run.
