Games like Yu Gi Oh?

Looking for an RPG adventure card battling game where you wander around and have creature cards that do battle like Yu Gi Oh (or even Pokémon I guess although Pokémon didn’t really utilize cards)

Hearstone and Magic the gathering are kinda close to it I guess

Magic The Gathering: Arena is free, uh there's Magic duels of the plainswalkers but i think that's only a demo on steam.

Legends of Runeterra and Eternal. After the big name ones you start getting into some obscure ones with awkward gamestate rules.

Edit: Can't believe i forgot about Yugioh Duel Links with all the time i've put in it.

Yugioh does cost too much. Its just not right to charge a few thousand to properly play a game.
And you will never catch up with free cards.

Magic invented it 30 years ago. Yugioh was the Japanese Kmart spin off.
Magic was always awesome and way better. But everybody jumped ship because they were bought out by Hasbro who butchered it. Hasbro buys out games and video games and ruins them because they think everyone wants a simple board game, they dont really understand games.

Most of these other games you see on Steam or that is mentioned, you will be very disappointed with if coming from Yugioh. They are very simple like a mindless iphone tap game. They do not have special tricks and combos like the real games. To be outright, they suck.

Sorry the truth might not be what you wanted to hear. I had to realize card games arent real games and spend my time with something better.

I came back to say Magic still has modes people like where you can use all the old cards. I dont really play Magic but theres some old skool mode and commander and stuff like that. So people still have fun. I think the biggest protest was the main games you can only use brand new decks which limit cards alot.

Anyway I have played Magic a bit before and its way more in depth than Yugioh.
