Someone else is using my email address
Hey,

I discovered while trying to change my password that someone else has made TWO accounts using my email address. How is this possible? I accidentally chagned one of their account's passwords in the result. How can I tell steam about this and how can I get them to change their email for their accounts?

Ty!

Also, I changed my email for this account ever since I saw the other ones.

IIRC you could make several accounts because of different usernames. I can't remember the specifics anymore. Also, it is that person's fault for using an email address that doesn't belong to them. Ignore the account it's not your problem. I doubt you'd ever have direct contact with that person.

Not your account, not your problem.

I would suggest it is probably also your account. Most people who suddenly discover "all their games are missing" may have created a new account - you might just not have decided to try playing a specific game recently enough to remember having done so.

Unless your email was given out by YOU, the chances of 'someone else' having your address CORRECTLY using the password YOU set originally... It's your alt account that you don't remember making.

Also:
1 game ban on record | Info
1806 day(s) since last ban

Given this, it's highly likely that you did create another account years ago, and have just forgotten about it, to avoid playing with a banned account...
