They are using a new tactic to steal skins, first they add you as friends, and after a while, they ask you if you want to be part of their team to compete in cs.go, they will pass you a link to join that team, they will also send you the request for the steam group, do not accept anything, nor click on that link, you will lose all your inventory, I tried to steal the skins just now, the page is called (thundercups), your steam profile is reset, it delete everything, the profile picture, the custom boxes, and of course the steam guard, be very careful, report the entire account that is suspicious, have a good day

The names keep changing but the tactic has been around for a while now.

At the end of the day, all these scams are just social engineering. Once you divulge your account credentials and Steam Guard info then all hope is lost.

report the account that scammed you thru its profile, block it, then move on. scammed items are not returned.

YOU allowed your account to be phished, YOU are the weakest link on the security chain.

Don't fall for things like this in real life. Digital goods are one thing, real world items and money are another.

You trying to make a profit and "live off" the funds you got from trading is YOUR mistake, and also against steam's terms of service, so there's that too. Get a job.
