Well, you do care... kind of. EA have exclusive rights to the franchise after all, so if they feel there's no market for the games on the PC then that's too bad - no NHL/Madden for you unless you own a console.
Anyway, if EA change their minds then you still won't find the games on Steam... because Origin.
I would personally like to get NHL '98, 2007 & 2008 in my online library, since I played them alot back in the day, and the discs are gone now and I can only play them if I stoop to piracy...
Or maybe read some reviews, looks like it has some problems so might want to read and see if you care and buy later maybe-
Damn I miss those times, pretty much all games were awesome back then
