Whats the dumbest thing you got banned for on steam?

Me, I put up non-porn screenshots of a hentai game that only had nudity available in the game, so it was just nude screenshots of what was essentially handdrawn artwork. And then I got a 7 day suspension from posting any community content...despite the game only being viewed by those who say they are "18" (kids can still say it but oh well lol) or older, and it was a literal hentai game...so I guess steam hates hentai but allowed the game. But was definitely the stupidest thing I got in trouble for on steam, because that meant no one could actually put any screenshots of that game at all without getting in trouble, so one could go to the game community page and just report every single person on there.

I wasnt even angry either, it was so dumb it actually made me laugh so I joke about it all the time lol. But was definitely the dumbest thing I got a community suspension for on steam lol.

You ever been banned for anything dumb on steam? I know sometimes one can be banned on a game forum page. I've heard some funny stories out of there.

The dumbest thing i was ever banned for was thinking that steam was a open and friendly forum to talk about issues and problems that go on in steam. Pretty shocked to learn that steam forums don't want you to talk about steam forums or what is wrong with steam forums.

As the IT Director for a massive network of around 200 clubs across North America and into the Caribbean I do have the final say as to what gets offered to the membership and what does not. Actions like this guarantee software like this gets added to the network's Disallowed Applications.
I had a signed Purchase Agreement, but their actions guaranteed this order would never go through. I also do not do "forgiveness" and subsequent efforts they did make to change my position go unheard.

Developer decided to stop punishing cheaters in their game. Told soomebody to use SAM to get a bugged achievement. Got perma banned by said developer for advertising cheats.

Oh and all that happened shortly after my prevous perma ban from 20hrs was revoked.
So yeah I got perma banned twice on the same board in one day

I was perma banned by the dev from the "Gamers Unknown" game forums for replying to someone's thread asking if the game was a asset flip with only "Yes it is"....

Should have reported him to Valve honestly..

A few weeks ago for just saying Hello with a Smiley Emoji which resulted in my account getting suspended for 4 weeks
If i hadn’t begged the moderators to undo the ban than i still would be banned today…

wasn't me, but shall never forget the time someone replied to a message with "comedy gold" and got banned.

i would love to dig out one of the more insane examples of when i got banned, but i had it overturned by support and so now it's gone...

hold up... did they remove any mention of rules about "do not discuss bans"?
