What is !drop
I am watching a developer broadcast and there are users in there with multiple lines of "!drop".

What's going on? Is it some kind of spamming?

people think that will cause item drops while watching the stream. a few of the streams recently had drops that you get after watching for 15 minutes.

Ah, I see,

I kind of get what you mean.

I thought the thing was full of idiots that need a good banning.

Well, that could also be true at the same time, but yeah.

Was this something on twitch? It has a ridiculous amount of little things like this. Very much not just a pure stream and commentary site, but has a ton of community engagement gamification tools.

It's on Steam - basically users hammering it with !drop.

Like seagulls after a pilchard.

Yeah, i've seen people do this for a while on twitch with streams that have drops enabled. I think it started off as a thing to mess with people. It doesn't actually do anything.

That command is disabled for most streams. CS:GO tournaments usually have them turned on.
