Sekiro Controller Problems
Hey guys,

I’ve been looking for a fix for this for the past three days and had no luck. I bought Sekiro on my gaming laptop when it came out. Ran perfect, had a good time with it, both my Xbox 360 wired controller and Switch Pro Controller worked on it perfectly too. However after being away from the game for a while and uninstalling it, I decided I wanted to play it again. So I reinstalled it, but guess what? It doesn’t recognize either of my damn controllers. Not even the wired Xbox 360 controller. I’ve been on this forum, Reddit forums, etc. tried all kinds of different fixes that never worked. We’re talking about going into Big Picture Mode and messing with the configurations. We’re talking about “Forced Off/Forced On”, “Global settings”, checking and unchecking the damn Switch Pro Configuration Support box, turning off the gyro (wasn’t even on to begin with). I just don’t understand what’s going on. My Pro Controller has never had issues, and still isn’t having any issues with any other games. Same with the wired Xbox 360 controller. This is the only game I’ve had a problem with, so ig FromSoft just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up something idk. Or maybe I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, anyone have any new ideas or new things I can try?

According to the game forum, it's Sekiro indeed: https://steamcommunity.com/app/814380/discussions/0/5671690972188386760/
If everything else fails, you can map gamepad actions to KBM which the game still recognizes.

Go figure man. Hopefully they come out with some kind of update or patch for this. I’ve seen a lot of people having this same problem
