what are the best hardcore RPG/ JRPGs out there and even normaly games that are great fun

Fun with out feeling like its taxing u or making ur teeth grind. like un-needed spongy NPCs or things that make things make the game longer when in truth thats the only thing making game take longer. (ie best exp is 7days to die and how they artificially make the game feel longer by making everything in book zs already knowing in pregame since how else did ur PC survive for so long before u took over.. )

or game is just fun and u really dont feel the grind while looking great and feeling as such..

thanks, i have played 1 and 2 and 3 (classic) (just never felt it so i wanted it on video.. after many many years i just watched everything on youtute. still wish they update the games and keep the main story but seeing what happened to FF7 remake. i dont have my hopes up i dont like the idea of buying ep of games i like buying the hole game once

1 and 2 and 3 of what? Ys? If so, they've all been remade into definitive versions by the original publisher/developer, by their in-house devteam. (3 was originally made by someone else i think?)

i am playing "steel" 1 out of the 4 to understand the game but i find the world empty and boring..

I haven't played Cold Steel 1, though I have played Trails in the Sky (the very first Trails game). The story is slow to spin up, because it's just setting up a lot of details (often with subtle foreshadowing), but it's fair if you want something that "gets interesting" more quickly and/or in a more straightforward manner.

i ment the world space looked boring. like not fleshed out for a PC port. thought they make the areas look 100 times better or beautiful persay.

thanks for the update. i new they fully redid the 3th from the classic NES title. not the 1st 2 Ys
just new they did a basick port to PC as a bundle..

Well, said "remake" of 1&2 is from like, 2009 or 2011 or so? I forget. But it was a few years after they made Ys Ark (a new game 6), Ys Oath (a remake and definitively-canon version of game 3), and Ys Origin (basically "game 0" as it's a prequel to 1), all three of these using the same engine. 1&2's remake used a different game engine, it seems.

Edit: I just checked Wikipedia and it seems that Complete and Chronicles were made for Windows in 2001 and 2009 respectively, and the DS and PSP ports of this were made in 2006 and 2009. The present version combines Complete's and Chronicles's artwork, interface style, and music (as choosable options), so this means its original release "dates" straddle the releases of Ark (2003), Oath (2005), and Origin (2006).
