Hitman 3

I have been playing Hitman 3 for the last 6 days on Epic Games and it has been a nightmare.
With constant disconnections and sometimes not able to get online at all, I am now fed up with it. Up until now , I have only ever played games on Steam. I have come to appreciate them a lot more in the last week. Here is my review for Hitman 2 but relating to Hitman 3. Let me know what you think. 222

Epic is not the only service affected by server issues. There was some big outages in some parts of the world recently.

Which is why I passed up on the past 2 Hitman games. Even console gamers had issues with this game at one point.

Note the saves for Hitman3 are to ioi's own servers meaning that regardless of what platform it used you'd be having issues

I never understand why single-player needs to have always online?. Just so they ward of piracy?. Even though the game was cracked?.

Why must legal customers have to suffer like this?. What happens if the company is closed down. Can they play this games.

Too late ,couldn't find a forum or a review page. Have uninstalled Hitman 3, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (a game they gave me for free) and Epic Games. Looking forward to Sniper Elite 5 if it ever comes out but otherwise, I am done with gaming. There are plenty of other places I can get ripped off.

Server outages is one thing. A game that is unplayable just because you don't have a good broadband service is quite another. Especially when you payed in excess of £75 GBP

All games can be played offline but, once the servers have been switched off its just the basics. No saves, no achievements or pop up rewards etc. You only have to look at Hitman 5 (Absolution). You can still play the game but contracts mode is long gone. In time, all games will suffer the same fate.
If I buy a new car. I can sell it on second hand in a few years time. Same applies to most things but, not games. We are ALL being digitality ripped off.

alternative could have been to wait why rush and buy it when it most likely will be on steam 2022. i did the same with borderlands 3 skipped epic store and purchased on steam. was worth it half price discount and i finished the game and dlc numerous times with 300hrs.

Why should I wait a year? That is a slap in the face to loyal Hitman PC gamers. IOI close down their servers at the earliest
opportunity, waiting a year would severely cut the time i have access to the servers.
I appreciate your comments and those of others but, what IOI have done is not defendable.
