Any Game under $5? You can choose to ignore this,
& buy what you want, but if you have problems with your purchase?
You have yourself to blame...
--------------------------------------
But, your welcome to buy something if you want, I don't intend to stop you...
If you need, really have to buy something? Probably stick to something you
are framilure with, like a Genre you enjoy, one that has been faithful to you
all these Years, or one you heard good things about, & not many problems over...
I dunno what is on Sale? I just know I was not pleased with Games in 2020,
I bought things on Sale before 2020, & had been very pleased with the Results,
but I can't really be sure todays Sales are any better then in the past...
Mad Max seemed like a decent Game... Not the best Reviewed Game out there,
but I figured i'd give it a shot... Trying to figure out how I could play it now, so I can't
give you a good or bad review on it yet...
Tomb Raider Square Enix Games, have not let me down yet, people were not happy,
but compared to most Games today? I have seen way worst Games out there...
The NFS Games, I can't speak for PC? But i've not seen anything bad from them yet...
I honestly just don't know what people play today, so maybe i'm not very helpful?
A lot has changed...
The Fallout collection is the other very good pick.
I tried Fallout New Vegas, as my only Fallout Game...
I actually think it would be a good Game, but I don't really think it holds up to Todays
Standards in terms of Quality... Or at least in terms of 4K Displays...
So unless you really like old school Gaming, that one was a bit iffy to me...
The Game is Solid, & great... That isn't the issue, the issue is that it
just can't hold up to the tech...
I heard bad things about the New Fallout Games, I heard good things about Fallout 4,
but i've never played... If you don't care about 4K, or Modern tech? Then yes i'd have
to say Fallout may be something worth picking up...
Any particular genres you interested in? Indie or AAA? Are graphics important to you? Old or new?

Note that my storepage is set to €, but most of these should also be under $5.99
Of feytharn's suggestions -
1) Grim Dawn is a very good Diablo like game but if you don't have the (expensive) DLC the ending is a bit "meh".
2) Tomb Raider seemed good from what I saw of it. Got stuck on one difficult bit early on.
3) The Witcher I got quite far into but whilst good in parts there was also stuff I didn't like.
4) I quite enjoyed Saint's Row 2 and I've heard Saint's Row 4 is better.
5) Having played both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City I'd go Asylum (1st instalment) first. There's more to City but Asylum is tighter narratively.

This is awesome, best played with a controller, great value Double Dragon style game but better.

Getting your butt handed to you by veterans is never fun but this underwater combat game is pitch perfect.

Great board game adaptation. There are tons of expansions. I'd get Frostmarch first to boost the deck sizes. You can afford both.

Free and despite cheats and bots still great. A reminder that if you're short of money there are a lot of very good free games on Steam.
S.x.
Great boardgame when you wanna do some stuff beside it (e.g. watching videos). Adorable artstyle and provides hourless fun.
