Contagion Game with Trojan:Win32/CryptInject!ml in last update?

In this last update that I did today 1/Nov/2020 Windows Defender (Win10) it's saying contagionds.exe have this virus:

Trojan:Win32/CryptInject!ml

WTH is happening? Steam releasing something with virus is not good at all!

Seems to be a false positive.

I saw your post on the Contagion discussions as well and that is really the only place where you needed to post this for future reference. Just make a skim around at several forum categories next time before you ask so as to make sure that the question hasn't been answered already.

I've seen that one named various times as a false positive for Windows Defender, even going back to 2018.

You can always upload the file to Virustotal to check it.

crysis 2 ME gets this also. its common false positive.
