Streaming a game and use a HOTAS / Joystick
Hi !

Maybe the question has already been asked, but I couldn't find it yet, sorry for the double post if it's the case.

I would like to buy Flight Simulator 2020, not sure if I should get it on Steam or on Windows Store, the functionnalities are the same, except that Steam users can stream their games to any other computer with Steam installed.

The fact is that I would like to use Flight Simulator on an old computer connected to my TV, so I would like to stream it from my gaming computer which is in another room.

I just bought a Logitech x56 HOTAS, and I tried it on War THunder, it works perfectly on the gaming computer.

I downloaded the game on Steam on the old computer, installed the Logitech drivers, I ran the game in ultra low graphics options, and the HOTAS worked perfectly.

Then, to try if I could use the HOTAS with a streamed game, I uninstalled War THunder from the old computer, and I ran it with the stream option.

No surprise, the game could run with ultra graphics with no lag, but my HOTAS didn't work.

So I'm afraid it won't work with Flight Simulator 2020 neither.

Am I missing something ?

I can get FS2020 premium edition on Windows Store for 30-40 € less than on steam with promo codes, so if I can't use my HOTAS when I stream the game, then I won't stream, so no need to buy FS2020 on Steam.

Thank you for your help !
