what is the best Warhammer 40k game on Steam ?

so many Warhammer 40k games on steam now but which is the best one?

Therea are lots of great 40k games. I feel like Space Marine was underrated and deserved a sequel

Space Marine is great, as is Dawn of War Dark Crusade.

- Space Marine is grea, especially as an introduction into the Universe
- Both Dawn of War 1 (+AddOns) and Dawn of War 2 (+AddOns) are really good RTS games and very different from each other (1 being a pretty classic base building game, the 2nd essentially being company of heroes in space)
- Sanctus Reach aims to represent the Miniature Game (Squad scale) and is pretty successful at that.
- I like Armageddon as a Warhammer themed Panzer General clone, close to some of the earlier WH40k games, but is is somewhat rough around the edges
- I heard good things about Battlesector as a somewhat upgraded Sanctus Reach, but I haven't got thet game, yet

Yup, it's not out yet though so can't say if it will be good or bad.

Battlefleet Gothic Armada I and II are both entertaining and allow you to experience things from a different perspective compared to the normal RTS and FPS.

Martyr on the other hand is an ARPG. If you like Diablo etc. you might like this one.

Deathwing is a bit of a mixed experience. It had promise but failed to deliver fully. Still, if you want to go around blasting Tyranids into tiny bits while rocking the always stylish Tactical Dreadnought Armour, also known as Terminator Armour, this is the game for you.

ps. Whatever you do, don't buy Dawn of War III unless you want to be tried for heresy and purged as an enemy of the Imperium.
