Can I delete the Steamworks Shared folder?
I was looking through my steamapps>common and saw a 221MB map sitting between my games. Obviusly I wanted to delete it, but I figured knowing what I was actually removing from my pc would be a good idea. My question: Can I delete the Steamworks Shared folder?

221MB sounds right for the Common Redist. It can be deleted but will always redownload because it is necessary for your games.

So it is indeed better to just keep it there.
Thank you!
It likely saves you space.

i had 532mb so i deleted it ans if it wouldnt work i can always install it again

Why its in a SHARED map is because then u dont need to download the same exe files every time u install games from steam or atleast what i think its for?

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
