love you :)
Love you [2]
The Logistical series are supposed to be decent and have lots of achievements, but it's not something I'm interested in. Tales of Maj'Eyal has a lot and is considered good too.
Most games with these ridiculous amounts of achievements are just meant to cash in on people that want a high achievement count.
Also who counts achievements on Steam? Doesn't all reasonable people just count the unlock % and that stuff?
Steam needs to add more limits to achievements on Steam.
When I say I still play achievement hunter games I just mean I don't boycott them out of principal if I'm interested in the game. Like the Zup series, which I actually enjoy as a simple puzzle game and also has some cool Steam backgrounds.
Like these:

But mostly these kinda games end up getting removed from Steam. BUT the achievements doesn't get removed from your account, so.
You can always use S.A.M. to collect them.
This is probably a good thing tbh. Achievements were just a cheap way to give games "replay value" without actually adding anything meaningful to the gameplay itself. Cheapening their value and making them feel worthless actually helps counter the psychological manipulation involved in their inherent function.
