Animated Emoticons

So we've got animated avatars now (blinking monsters), animated avatar borders, stickers (animated), animated profile backgrounds...

Do you think we'll get animated emoticons too?

I've always wanted a dancing fire emoticon that I can place in various places of my posts to make them BURN! ...now that's a HOT topic!

However, if they do this, I hope it will just be GIFs so that it doesn't run up the processing so much - either that or the Steam client needs some serious work done to it in order to make it more efficient [especially if it can't even handle some GIFs without running up the CPU processing rate].
