Hours clocked on a game
How many hours on average do you clock on any given game? And would you say that you take pride in the hours you have clocked for that game?

Just a curious question...

this kind of tells you that info. just plug in your url info.
I don't think it works for private profiles though.

mmmm i meant the hours you invest in a game so sort of like why do you play a game for so long ?

also i'm not looking for help im just wanting to understand if people take pride in how much hours they have clocked and why ?
oh ok, I'm sorry. I misread.
its algoods :)
really depends on the game. I try to 100% every game I play, thus my high achievement percentage and perfect games:games owned ratio. I usually stop playing when this happens, the rare exception being Skyrim and others.

no pride in hours, I could care less what that number shows to others
ahh ok thats interesting...

is there a reason why you play games?
If I play a game for more than 10 hours, that means I really like playing it. Less than that, with no recent activity, means I probably idled those games to get cards. Other than that, the hours don't really matter much.

The games I would replay over and over again:

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (obviously)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Killing Floor 2
Left 4 Dead 2
Saints Row: The Third

Because it took that long? I'm not usually in a rush to finish a game.

enjoyment I guess. A better word is spelled out on my profile :)

also, might want to delete your other post. double posting is a minor no-no

Ok fair enough... which games would you say you enjoy the most?
is this for a paper or something? because that's what it sounds like.
No, no pride; I'm more or less neutral on the matter. Though sometimes the opposite is true: the numbers can be an embarrassment and sometimes I'd prefer if Steam didn't have that feature at all--if for no other reason than people will often jump to incorrect conclusions or form faulty opinions based on those numbers.

Yehr that is a fair enough statement, but why do you play games?
