Screenshots resolution
I need help to improve the quality of my screenshots made with Steam and F12
My screenshots have a really low and pixelized resolution while I'm shooting in 1360*920
Does anyone have any ideas ?

Screenshots are captured with your selected in-game resolution. If your monitory only supports 1366x768 for example, don't expect the screenshots to appear as 1920x1080 unless you are specifically upscaling with the likes of DSR or something.

My game run in 1366*768, with medium or higher graphics settings
I think you'd understand better if I could send a picture
Sadly, i could not

If your game runs at that resolution then the screenshots will reflect that because it's a direct capture.

1366 x 705

You can't magically make the screenshots running at 1920x1080 with the game at ultra settings.

Are you talking about low res pictures while using steam screenshots in game? I am currently having this issue where steam will only show the low res thumbnail so when i increase the window size it looks like crap.

However the normal ss is there where it should be. Doesnt make sense steam defaults to the thumbnail while in game?

I had this problem too. I play at 4k. Either native or 2160. I had to start using photo mode in game and turn that resolution up. I was trying to get the milkyway in as the background of a shot of my character. The stars and the color banding barely showed up. Nothing like it looked in game. Photo mode at max res did the trick but it takes about 30-40 seconds a shot to render them. No settings in steam for res. Just location.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
