suport asked 150 to confirm my account
A support deleted my son his account for no reason and asked him to put money 150,- on a account for confirming if it is realy my son and after that he wanted to pay it back and give his account back and before he already payed 29,- to the support on the account, i thought this cannot be true so i have been writing with that support on my son his account and asked him why but he did not give clear answers (he was showing he was busy with his art and asked me if i like it) so i checked and see that the 29.- euro was on a allarming dutch account and is famouse dutch account that been stealing a lot of money from people NL14 RABO 0155 5032 19 so something is not right.
My son payed a lot for all the games he have/had , everything is gone and the suport of you dont want to put it back before i pay 150 and then he want to give the 150 back. would be nice if he gets his account and 29 euro back

Stay save all

You're just getting scammed and trolled by someone. Support is never going to contact or talk to anyone on Friends.

If you need help from Steam support then contact them thru the support site: https://help.steampowered.com/en/

Your son got his account compromised, not deleted.
Steam Support does not extort money for their services. Scammer do.

but how can a scammer be a suport and compromise a account and how can my son get his account back without paying 150
Cathulhu Mar 30, 2020 @ 2:44am
1. The scammer pretends to be support.
2. Your son compromised his account by giving the account login credentials away.
3. The free to use real Steam Support can be found here: help.steampowered.com

The scammer is not from support, he's impersonating a Valve employee. The link provided by Matt will take you to the REAL support. They'll get the account back for you as long as you provide proof of ownership.

Everyone can pretend to be someone or to work for someone, that doesn't mean it's true.

Steam Support will NEVER ask you for money to give you support.

He can't get in because the hijacker probably changed the email and password. Only Steam Support can help him and you now. Contact them via the link.

I'll also add that due to the pandemic going on, responses will be slow. Just be patient.

Because your son gave his account away.

I will repeat it again, you NEED to listen and understand.

Your son gave his account to a scam site. They are now trying to extort him for it back.

You need to use that link and start recovering the account.

It means the account is temporarily locked so the hijacker can't do anything with the account.

There is, either by
A: Using the recovering page
or
B: By contacting Steam Support and provide proof of ownership.
