Steam Community Login: Too Dangerous by Norton 360?
I'm trying to login with the Steam community in Project Sansar site, but my anti-virus warns me that this website is too dangerous to access.

What was really the point of this? :steamfacepalm:

Don't login with your Steam account...? Create a separate Sansar account...?

I installed Sansar and log in with Steam with no problem.
Getting same response from Noton for Steam Community login. Unable to proceed with troubleshooting lost account the Steam sees but Daybreak Games can't.
Norton is garbage and widely known for producing wrong threat identifications.
Using only the Windows build in Defender is vastly superior to using useless crap like Norton.

I totally agree with @Ogami; Avoid using let even alone mentioning Norton's AV garbage-ware; personally I'd add, McAfee, PC-Matic to the list, all three are absolutely complete garbage-ware IMO.

(edit): There were four ny additional list; I removed Kaspersky just because I have had bad experiences with it personally and haven't used it in over 6+ years.

If you are needing the use of a third party AV software for projects/work not related to gaming on Steam and not confident that Window's MS Defender is doing the job to your expectations I'd recommend AVG, F-Secure, Malwarebytes, or Bitdefender.

I'll add one as a good AV, Avast.
AVG has really bad customer service.

AVG and Avast are the same product, from the same company - just branded differently
They are now, but they weren't when I had AVG.
I installed Avast back in 2014 and remember that the first thing it did was clean up my computer by removing my personal programs/games. First and last time I used a AV program.

That's literally not how Anti-Viruses work. Nice joke.
They physically cannot ever do that.
Period.

Seriously, despite all the problems Avast has, and there's a few, it has never done that.

My mistake, that was a bad way to put it, but it did remove a lot of my personal files/programs including steam. I think it did a complete system "clean up".

It was a long time ago and I don't remember all of the details.
