Games that don't make you feel lonely
This sounds awful but I don't have many friends these days, I enjoy games but a lot of them make me feel lonely, for example I LOVE Skyrim but because it's open world and even with companions it does become lonely. I like multiplayer games as well as single player so any recommendations are good. Just need to feel other people are there whether they're decent AI characters that aren't terribly scripted or other players just "there" in the world alongside you.

I'd say an MMO would be up your alley...vast open worlds to explore, and you can team up with others for raids, or just chat globally. That, and it's easy to make friends in MMO's.

Half-Life 2 episodes didn't make me feel lonely at most parts of them, sure there were some parts where you go alone but they aren't much.

Here's few that i think would be great.

Dragons Dogma:
Single player RPG. It has Pawn system where your companions are major thing in your playthrough. They talk with you , warn you or give you advices.

Divinity: Original Sin2:
Single player / CO-OP RPG.
If you play it solo, companions are great way to fill that space , due to a lot of dialogues and their reactions of your choices and actions. There's a lot of people on their Discord that are down to play with you and you always will find someone to play it in CO-OP.

Elder Scrolls Online:
Good MMO if you are looking for not a high price or monthly paid MMO game.
A lot to do , a lot of players are in there and there's always someone to talk to.

and one more uncommon thing is , if thats still not enough i heard that playing GTA V RP or VRChat is a good way to socialize. I'm mainly talking about VRchat here. There's ton of people who are there to play , talk about different Topics , do some weird stuff or just screw around.
I never used it but i heard it's a good place to be there if you feel lonely [you dont need vr for that if you wonder].

Hope you find something good for you and have a nice day!

Yeah by the sound off it i would prob say the same as the first person on this thread. MMOs are prob your best bet as you can meet up with lots of fun and helpful people. I would say try Final Fantasy Online...

The Witcher 3 has a very vibrant and immersive world.

Final Fantasy XIV would be good. I dont have many friends either and have trouble making new ones, but when I played FFXIV the time passed by quick and was so much fun
