X-Plane 11 Scenery problem

I had v 11.30 and all my add-on scenery and default scenery worked fine,when I stated X-Plane yesterday I now see I have v 11.31 (updated by Steam) and now all I have now are runways & taxiways no buildings.All my old scenery files are still showing in the "Custom Scenery Folder" I downloaded some new free scenery from Steam placed them into the "CSF" folder and none of the new scenery has any buildings. I may have to uninstall X-Plane11 and then reinstall the program from Steam and see if it fixes the problem.

Just rearrange everything in the right order in your scenery.ini. When xplane updates it mess up the order.

This is one of the reasons I use xOrganizer. It was previously free but now is being sold at the Org Store for $10. Still feel it's worth it to arrange my scenery_packs.ini file and more importantly to be able to use profiles to turn sceneries on and off .

Yes XOrganizer is the way to go to keep you scenery in order, great program, I used the free version. Then as soon as his new version came out I bought it.

Worth giving it a look at, and well worth the money. The demo has some restrictions, but can use most of the functions.

Tom yes I purchased xOrganizer Installed, checked the readme ,turned everything ON I can see all my Scenery all showing Green ,the only "Needs Attention" was my "Open SceneryX Installer" but I don't think this an issue as v1130 was working fine. I restarted X-Plane and nothing is showing ,same problem. Maybe when Steam installed v1131 the download encounted a problem,my internet is not that good (72mbps) I"am sure I installed xOrganizer all OK .Regarding keeping the Scenery in order mine are as follows Airports-Europe,Airports-North America,Airports -Oceania,Airports-Default,Non Airport Scenery regional,Cities-X-plane,Libraries. Is this correct? any help would be much appreciated.Thanks

Can you post a copy of your whole scenery config.ini file?

The green only indicates the the scenery is enabled, but it still could be in the incorrect order, which would cause it not to show up.

And keep your .ini copy somewhere so when you either update or verify the files you could simply paste it back and not worry about it anymore.

If you purchased xOrganizer 2.0 there is an option at the top of the screen under Actions to show the scenery_packs.ini file. You can use that to see where items have been placed and then make changes xOrganizer by moving items into different categories until you get the placement correct.

Also if it is related to your graphics settings. Here are my settings:
Visual Effects High (HDR)
Texture Quality Maximum
Antialiasing 8X SSAA+FXAA (highest quality)
Number of World Objects Maximum
Reflection Detail Minimal
Draw shadows on scenery Checked
Draw parked aircraft Unchecked

Your scenery order looks OK to me, but I'm not an expert on that.

If both of these (SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - EBBR Brussels/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - LSGG Genf/) are not payware or freeware they should be in your Airports Default / Aerosoft Airports. by EDDF.

Also this should be below the airport possibly down in your Orthophoto's directory.

Any specific airport that you are having issues?

Thanks Tom overnight Steam updated to 11.32 and I think I found the problem somehow all my graphic setting were set to minimal I reset them to suit my system and now I have buildings.

This looks really painful. Why bother? Wait for the new Microsoft Sim to come out. The scenery is FAN bloody TASTIC without having to go this torturous path. Life's too short.
