How do I permanently delete workshop items?
I have subscribed to a lot of things over the years for some of my games. The ones I no longer use I just unsubscribe, but I am concerned if the files remain on my computer. If this is the case how to I get rid of them?

If it's a source game like Garry's Mod, or Left 4 Dead 2 you can go to the game's installed location, and look for a folder called addons. Inside is where all workshop items should be saved. You can then manually delete all the workshop mods currently saved, because they all use numbers as names you won't be able to tell what workshop mods are what. Don't worry the ones you are still subscribed too will auto download, and install the next time you start up the game.

Wait...the location for a source game is in steamapps folder right? Left for dead 2 (one of the games I am concerned about) does not have addons in its folder and is under steamapps as a hole.

Look inside this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons

Sorry for not posting the file path before.
