I used to play CS:GO on 480p and all low, on 4gb RAM and Intel Pentium and it ran pretty well, so will a lot of scrollers and 2d games - you can also try games like Goat Simulator on minimum graphics settings

I can recommend the early Id Software games (Quake 1 - 3, Doom & Doom 2) as low spec games that have good value in the sense that they have over 20 years of free community made content made for them. Like you could probably play those games forever and always have new mods and maps to play.
