both are on sale 40 dollars on ps4 (dont judge lol) i already played skyrim and i really wanna play fallout 4 but i heard red dead 2 is really good game any help?

Seems expensive for the Fallout4 GOTY/Skyrim Legendary bundle.
Bought it like 2 years ago for 20 bucks during a sale on PSN.
RDR 2 you can also get cheaper already.

Fallout 4 plus all its dlc should be cheaper than that 'on sale', but at least we know it works. ;) RDR2 for console I don't know? I really would love to play it eventually but it's still out of my price range and I don't know prices for consoles.

FO4 has the huge benefit of having a MAAAASSSSIVE modding community, at least *on PC*. I would hesitate to get suckered into Bethesda's bullcrap 'mods' on console, since they'd have to go through the creator's club? (i think?) and that's nonsense. There's a billion mods on the Nexus, for pc. get it on pc.

Pretty much this, also Skyrim and Fallout 4 are both 30 FPS locked on PS4 which is just...

I would advise RDR2. I don't know the state of modding scene on PS4, but Fallout 4 feels really empty without mods. You'll spend most of the game either building your minibases or run through the same set of ruins over and over for radiant quests (and it's not smooth like Skyrim).

I really like Skyrim a lot but avoid it on PS4, it really run like ♥♥♥♥, it is almost completely ruined. It run so bad that it feels almost like a slideshow. Almost unplayable, and I mean for people who already know it well enough, for a newcomer it would probably be just completely unplayable.
I'm not sure about other console versions. I tried it on Switch and it is acceptable. for sure there is a big difference compared to PC but still much better than on PS4 and at least playing something like it in portable mode is amazing - it makes at least some sense to buy it there even if it is not the same as PC.

Fallout 4 GOTY is a bargain bin game. $40 for that would be insane especially on the PS4. You could probably pick up both for that amount if you shop around.
