also if you already had installed game in lets say C and want to move em to D, you can do that by right click the game on steam, properties, local files, move install folder.
hope this help
We're not just poking at speed boot times but general performance.
That's your first prioritization and should take precedence over anything.
Now, with the space left on the SDD, you'd want to install some games.
The "left-overs" can go in the HDD where you probably have A LOT of space.
For obvious performance reasons, try to get your favorite games onto the SSD.
Thanks for the help, ran into the problem when trying to "move directory", that directory could not be written to and do not have permission to write to a read only disk errors. Steam support was no help telling me to contact hard drive manufacture to ask why and how to fix... lol Uninstalling did not help as it left over many steam directories in the registry, the reason it was giving the errors. Once I searched registry for steam entries and deleted all the directory references, re installed steam to D (HD) drive and the games to C (SSD). Everything went smoothly. Waiting on a 2T samsung 970 M.2 to upgrade tht small 256GB SSD :D
